I have too many 1.5-ton trailers, and I want to get them off my property before I begin grading for my new house construction project. So, I'm reducing the prices I'm asking for all of them to make them go away faster!
These trailers are meant to be pulled by 2.5-ton 6x6 trucks like this one, or similar heavy trucks with air brakes.
These trailers are too large to be pulled safely by a pickup truck. Even a really big pickup truck. And they have air-actuated brakes, anyway. So, if you're looking for a trailer for your 4x4, these ones are not what you're looking for.
All trailers are located near Riverside, California, and are offered AS-IS, WHERE-IS. Buyers are fully responsible for removing them from my property at time of cash payment. I want to move these trailers quickly... once my grading starts, access to them may be blocked by the construction for a long time.
Please Email Me if you are interested in any of these trailers.
This trailer has the old style landing leg with a large wheel and no screw jack mechanism. It has the older single-hose air over hydraulic brakes. There's some rust through on the outer part of the front right corner around one of the lifting rings. No cargo cover bows are included. This trailer has a clean title and license plate (not mounted).
This trailer has the old style landing leg with a large wheel and no screw jack mechanism. It has the older single-hose air over hydraulic brakes, but the hose is missing. The lunette is bent, but I will include a replacement lunette with the trailer. Bows and racks are included, but the wooden center section of the front bow is broken. This trailer has a clean title and license plate (not mounted).
This trailer used to have a pair of MEP-018A 10kW gasoline-powered
generators mounted on it. The big transfer switch is still present. It
includes the metal bows (one is missing). It has the newer style 2-wheel
landing leg with screw jack, and the newer 2-hose air over hydraulic
brakes. This trailer has never been titled, and it will be sold with a
bill of sale only.
This one lives in El Monte, CA now!
This 1968 M103A3 trailer has two MEP-018A gasoline-powered generator sets mounted on it. Both generators need work. I've gotten one of them to start and run after replacing the carburator and spark plugs, re-timing the ignition and various other fixes, but it has some electrical issues that I haven't fixed yet. The other generator will need a carburator rebuild, and I haven't started it yet. I've replaced all of the filters and changed the engine oil in both units.
The trailer's landing leg is the style with two small wheels. The screw jack is stuck. It has the old style single-hose air over hydraulic brakes, but the hose will need to be replaced. The trailer has a clean title and includes a license plate (not mounted). One of the metal bows is missing.
This M103A3 is in very good condition. It formerly held two MEP-003A
diesel-powered generator sets, and the big transfer switch and tool box are
still on it. It includes the metal bows. It has a clean title and license
plate (not mounted, unless you count a piece of baling wire). I'm setting
the price higher on this one because I'm not sure I want to sell it! Plus,
it's in really good shape.
This one is on its way to Texas now!
