This 1968 M103A3 trailer has two MEP-018A gasoline-powered generator sets mounted on it. Both generators need work. I've gotten one of them to start and run after replacing the carburator and spark plugs, re-timing the ignition and various other fixes, but it has some electrical issues that I haven't fixed yet. The other generator will need a carburator rebuild, and I haven't started it yet. I've replaced all of the filters and changed the engine oil in both units.
The trailer's landing leg is the style with two small wheels. The screw jack is stuck. It has the old style single-hose air over hydraulic brakes, but the hose will need to be replaced. The trailer has a clean title and includes a license plate (not mounted). One of the metal bows is missing.
This trailer is meant to be pulled by 2.5-ton 6x6 trucks like this one, or similar heavy trucks with air brakes.
This trailer is too large to be pulled safely by a pickup truck. Even a really big pickup truck. And it has air-actuated brakes, anyway. So, if you're looking for a trailer for your 4x4, this one is not what you're looking for.
This trailer is located near Riverside, California, and is offered AS-IS, WHERE-IS. Buyer is fully responsible for removing it from my property at time of cash payment.
